Day 43

Everyone ton last night and its time to fly back to SINGAPORE!

expected that the weight of our luggage will exceed

and yes! exceeded by 122kg.

got to pay 13rmb/kg at Wuhan's airport

Transferred at GuangZhou airport but this time round was more expensive for exceed a kg.

98rm/kg!

Morevover, their management was insufficient. Instructions were not clear and we had to run up and down.

Finally we were BACK IN SINGAPORE!

everyone was so EXCITED!

thats marked the ends of the 43 wuhan trip but memories will stay and everyone will meet up for sure!

I MISS WUHAN!

everything, the lifestyles, fun and crazy days, the food etc which you wont be able to find it in singapore.

Day 42

1 more day and we have to leave this place that filled with memories!

went computer city again as there are some shopping area that we miss out with Group C and adelene.

Adelene finally bought her hard disk

next, we headed to a shopping mall, named Tom & Jerry. -sounds like a shopping mall that sell toys eh?

But is NOT! there's are lotsa trend stuffs and arcade over there.

Bought an A-grade imitation Fion bag for my aunt's mum.

Next, we headed to BuXingJie as motive was to shop at the NIGHT MARKET which we were unavailable to yesterday.

As it open at 7pm so we went to Walmart to buy some local products back to Singapore.

Bought quite a no of stuff over that and finally i found the bad that my mum wanted! haha

i've been finding it since day 1 and i managed to find it on the last day! HOORRAY! :)

Shop till all of us were drop dead! haha. went back to the hostel and

its time to start packing!

Seriously, i dont bear to leave this place.

its filled with fun, laughter, enjoyment and lotsa stuff.

Day 41

IT'S RELAXING DAY

Steffi, sebas, julian, willis and I took the bread van to HanZheng jie again.

Wonder why we keep going there?

Because I wanted to eat those street food once again, Willis wanted to buy cheap quality umbrella while julian want to experience HanZhengJie.

Its RAINING! :( therefore, my 1st part of the day wasnt good with all the muddy water making my foot and leg so dirty as i need to go spa later somemore!

Worst is no cab wanna fetch us to BuXingJie which is 2 stops away. REASONS : Rain & Traffic Jam!

Lucky we were on time for our spa appointment. The 3 of us, steffi, sebas and I was so shy as we need to take off our clothings for spa. haha

FELT SUPER RELAX AND SHIOK AFTER SPA+ FULL BODY MASSAGE :)

Did some shopping and Ajisen dinner again. Wanted to shop at the night market but most of the shops were closed due to RAIN!

so what are we left with?? BACK TO HOSTEL :( we will come back again tomorrow!

Day 40

HAIRCUT DAY!

Teck yi, clar, yining, karen, weiling, sam, sebas, steffi, andy and willis went to 发源地 ( the hair salon) early in the morning for a change on their hair! either a haircut, hair dye or treatment.

I joined them at close to 12pm as i was busy...........sleeping

Remembered i said before in the older posts that i rather prefer my own hairstylist but i cant take it anymore with my messy long fringe. Noticed that the deputy store manager or director's skills is not bad so i decided to give it try. No harm trying uh.

so did a haircut. actually not really a change of hairstyle, just trim my hair and its turn out to be like this, just that the fringe is shorten now, my vision is clearer!

i found it so cheena after the cut but the rest said it nice. haha. but i still like my previous hair.

the rest went back to finish up their videos while andy, teck yi, willis, julian and me went back to the tea house to buy more tea leaves this time! bought 人参乌龙. i love the dry sweet taste which will stay in your throat for sometime after you drank.

Mr Puah cooked duck porridge for one last time in Wuhan. Thanks fatherly Mr Puah! i'm gonna miss your porridge. :)

Day 39

Exploring Wuhan today with willis as the rest are busy with the videos.

we decided to go Taipei Road, Hankou, DaHeng XiaoZhuan Tea house to buy some tea leaves back to Singapore.

We saw elaine while on our way out of the hostel. She told us that there two tea shops nearby our hostel. So we decided to take a look and we bought 6jin of biluochun tea leaves. It has a light and cooling taste.

However, we still stick to our plan and went to Taipei Road to take a look at the teahouse. Took a bus and guess what??? Alighted at the wrong bus stop and ended up walking to 步行街.

Hungry and tired at the same time, we were looking for food and came across this shop, 永和大王 which sells famous soyabean and doughsticks.

But we tried their set menus, not bad taste but the rice with chicken was rather spicy. rest awhile after eating and continue to find our way to Taipei Road.

We went over to the oppsite where the bus interchange is and took bus 563. The bus berth cant be notice at all till we asked the customer service officer.

Finally reached Taipei Road. and we found this. New Vision Taipei. it was a 5star club so we went in and take a look. International buffet at ONLY 98RMB! consider cheap uh!










Found DaHeng XiaoZhuan Teahouse. It was indeed a teahouse but they doesn't sell any tealeaves:( so we continue walking till we are unsure where we were! haha




Board a bus and headed to LiXuan's house as she invited us to have dinner before we leave. Her friend, Liu Cheng's dad cooked for us. 16dishes all together! we are BLOATED!

Day 38

As i said in the previous post, today will be our PROJECT DAY, the 5 of us woke up early and headed to the back street for our breakfast.

We needed the photos for our video and it was the first time 5 of us had our warm breakfast together!

Day 37

its time to start on our group video.

so our group and adelene decided to get all the photos of food ready!

went computer city.

benji accompanied adelene to look for her hard disk while we went to hunt for some street food!

this kuey is big and hard! but taste not bad.

after dinner, went 建设七路with willis to get some stuff as well as taking a walk. we tried street food again! in Wuhan, there's stalls everywhere selling corn and we decided to buy one to try after so long. Thought it would be nice and sweet at first but is too soggy till tasteless :(

and this made us think of our mum's corn with carrot soup!

headed home and sleep early! got to complete our videos by tomorrow so there's will be more time for shopping! nightsssss

Day 36

Left with a week and we gonna leave this Wuhan so we intend to spend our 1 last week to the fullest! shop-eat-play anything!

Woke up early and went 汉正街 with steffi and willis. so nice of them accompanied me there as i need to change my bag.

As we did not want to miss this chance again, we decided to shop at 汉正街 again! Willis recommended some of the street food that he ate yesterday.

this was the 1st stall we patronise. selling something like burger with filling of egg, minced meat and veg.

2nd stall selling the same thing with no meat this time but chili. so we tried BOTH! Yummy i love it alooot! (: i will buy again before i leave.

Heading to 步行街 again! seems like we kept going back the same old places!

WHY??

because there's too much to shop and things that we want to buy over there when's there more discount due to national day!

took our time to walk to our destination and came across 民众坊. Its an alley where many shops can be found, just like our far east.

spotted AJISEN while on our way! the 3 of us were superb excited! because we thought won't be able to find it in Wuhan ! there's only 4 outlets in china as they had just started.

the food is nice, different taste and much cheaper than Singapore! * thumbs up*

Next was window shopping at ocean mall. Guess what steffi and I spotted again??

SPA!

we decided to take a look at the price! 130RMB for full body massage and spa..wooooot! Booked an appointment on thursday 2pm.

I CANT WAIT FOR IT =)

Day 35

SHOPPING DAY

5 of us( steffi, yining, karen, weiling and me) went to 汉正街 for shopping, grabbing cheap stuff!

Why is cheap cheap cheap?

Because it's called "WHOLESALES" but nothing much to buy unless you are buying in bulk or stock up. The place is so big that each section sells different things like children's wear, houseware or cloths.

There's nothing much to shop so we decided to go back to 汉正街 to shop once again! As it is two stops away, we decided to walk. SHOP-SHOP-SHOP while we were walking because there's too many temptation along the way!

met julian and the rest who went church in the morning at there too. Had mac for breakfast-lunch-dinner as one meal. haha can see how hungry we were??

Proceed to night market at 汉正街. Selling cheap stuffs over there and can be bargain.
However, bad thing happend. Weiling lost her wallet. was pickpocket while she was choosing her watches. I was at the other stall if not could help to watch out or remind her. In fact, She had some 'warning' twice in the day. She had misplaced her wallet or forgotten to take when she left the place.


But anyway, cheer up girl. take it as a lesson and becareful of your stuff.

Each of us have to feed her with a spoonful of honeydew BUT with chilli, lemon, soya sauce. may her life filled with sweet, sour, bitter and spices!




10 of us share a little present of the cow bear for her.

hope she enjoyed it and 8more days to singapore.


:( that we are leaving this place so fast when all of us had adapted and miss lotsa fun over here!
:) that i'm going back to my homeland, get to see my family and friends.

Day 34

东湖 Trip ~

Autumn is here and the weather is freezing cold to me! Went to 3 places in 东湖 (:
